Fast, Fun & Performance-Oriented

Pyzel designed the White Tiger around a clean, stubby outline with a full nose and wide tail. The wide point sits forward of center, while additional foam is carried underneath the chest to improve paddle power and help the board get into waves easily.

The flatter deck retains plenty of usable volume while blending into tapered rails, allowing the White Tiger to feel sensitive and responsive despite its fuller outline. The result is a board that can fly through weaker sections, generate speed without constant effort, and still respond when you want to put it on rail or attack the lip.

Medium-Low Rocker for Easy Speed

The White Tiger uses a medium-low nose and tail rocker designed to maximize glide and speed in weaker, flatter waves. The reduced rocker helps the board accelerate quickly and carry momentum through sections where a traditional performance shortboard may struggle.

At the same time, the wider outline and rocker profile are designed to remain maneuverable enough to fit into tighter pockets and more curved sections of the wave, giving the White Tiger its blend of easy speed and performance surfing.

Single/Double Concave to Vee

The White Tiger features a single-to-double concave through the front two-thirds of the board, transitioning into a more pronounced vee/double concave through the fins and tail. This bottom contour helps the board lift and accelerate quickly while the vee through the tail makes the wider outline easier to transition from rail to rail.

Futures 5-Fin Versatility

This 6'2 White Tiger features a Futures 5-fin setup, allowing it to be ridden as either a thruster or quad. A thruster setup provides a familiar combination of control, drive, and pivot, while a quad setup can open the board up for additional speed and drive down the line.

Ideal Wave Range

The Pyzel White Tiger is designed to work across approximately 1–6 foot surf, with its speed-generating design making it especially appealing for average and weaker everyday conditions.

  • 1–3 Feet: Excellent for generating speed and making weaker waves more fun.
  • 3–5 Feet: Plenty of speed with enough sensitivity to push harder through turns and surf more aggressively.
  • 5+ Feet: Capable of handling better, more powerful surf while maintaining the playful characteristics of the White Tiger design.

Who Should Ride the 6'2 White Tiger?

The 6'2 White Tiger at 40.9 liters is a great option for surfers looking for extra paddle power and wave-catching ability without moving to a traditional oversized board. Its combination of generous volume, tapered rails, easy speed, and responsive handling makes it an appealing choice for a wide range of surfers who want a fun everyday shortboard.

Pyzel recommends sizing the White Tiger shorter and wider than a surfer's regular shortboard while adding some extra volume. This approach helps preserve the model's compact, fast, and playful personality.

Polyester / PU Construction

This White Tiger features traditional PU foam and polyester construction, providing the familiar flex and connected feel associated with a traditional surfboard build.
