This used Liddle Death Machine 6'6 is a compact mid-length single fin measuring 6'6" x 22 1/4" x 3". Built in traditional poly construction, the Death Machine brings Liddle's distinctive approach to alternative surfboard design into a shorter package for surfers interested in smooth lines, rail-oriented surfing, and a different feel from a conventional thruster shortboard.

How the Liddle Death Machine Rides

The Death Machine is an alternative to the quick, fin-driven feel of a conventional performance shortboard. Its 6'6" length, generous 22 1/4" width, 3" thickness, and single-fin configuration point toward a board intended for flowing turns and a more drawn-out approach to surfing rather than rapid thruster-style direction changes.

For surfers accustomed to modern multi-fin boards, the single-fin setup encourages a different approach to positioning and turning. Rather than relying on multiple side fins for drive and directional control, the rider can focus more on clean lines, controlled transitions, and carrying momentum through the wave.

Compact Mid-Length Dimensions

At 6'6", this Death Machine sits at the compact end of the mid-length category. Its 22 1/4" width and substantial 3" thickness give it notably fuller dimensions than a typical performance shortboard of similar length. The exact volume is not listed, so a liter figure should not be estimated from the board's measurements alone.

This combination may appeal to surfers who want an alternative board with more board underfoot while keeping the overall length manageable. As with any unconventional shape, the right fit depends on the surfer's experience, size, preferred waves, and the type of surfing they want from the board.

Single-Fin Setup

This Liddle is configured exclusively as a single fin. A single-fin setup generally favors smooth arcs and deliberate positioning over the quick pivot and fin-to-fin response associated with a thruster. Fin choice can also have a meaningful effect on how a single-fin board feels, including its hold, turning characteristics, and overall response.

A fin is not included with this used board.

Poly Construction

This Death Machine is listed with traditional poly construction. The exact blank, stringer, resin, and glassing schedule have not been supplied for this individual board, so those construction details are not assumed.

Used Liddle Death Machine Condition

This individual Liddle Death Machine has received Rider Shack's highest used-board rating of 5 out of 5 stars. As with any used surfboard, review the available product photos and individual condition details closely to see the exact board being offered.

Why Ride This Liddle Death Machine?

The 6'6" Death Machine is worth considering for a surfer specifically interested in alternative single-fin surfing rather than simply looking for another conventional shortboard. Its compact length, fuller dimensions, single-fin configuration, and Liddle design lineage give it a distinct place in a quiver built around experiencing different approaches to riding a wave.
