Rad Ripper Design & Performance

The Rad Ripper was developed from Lost's Retro Ripper platform with a lowered entry rocker for improved paddling, early wave entry, glide, and immediate speed. Its wide squash tail provides plenty of planing surface for weaker surf, while generous tail rocker and a pronounced double concave help keep the board lively and responsive through turns.

The bottom contour transitions from slight vee in the nose into a shallow single concave and then into a deeper double-concave vee through the tail. Combined with its flatter deck, tucked rails, and distinctive beaked nose, the design delivers a combination of stability, speed, drive, and maneuverability.
