How It Surfs

The Lost RNF ’96 is known for blending classic fish speed with a more performance-focused feel. The fuller outline and added volume help you get into waves early and carry momentum through softer sections, while the refined shape keeps the board lively, responsive, and easy to redirect.

At 6'2" x 21.75" x 2.7", this board offers plenty of paddle power and stability, making it a great choice for surfers who want a forgiving board that still feels fast and maneuverable. It is especially fun in small-to-fun surf where speed, flow, and wave count matter.

Futures Thruster Setup

The Futures thruster setup gives this RNF ’96 a familiar blend of drive, hold, and control. It can be surfed with a traditional thruster feel for more predictability through turns, while still keeping the fast, skatey character that makes the RNF series so popular. Fins are not included, so you can choose the template that best matches your surfing style.

Great For

  • Surfers looking for a fast, forgiving fish-style board
  • Small-to-fun surf where easy speed and paddle power are key
  • Riders who want more volume without going to a longboard or midlength
  • Intermediate surfers wanting a user-friendly performance fish
