RIDER SHACK’s new demo program will let you try before you buy. With a
growing inventory of over 20 surf and paddle boards, feel confident
purchasing a new surfboard by trying it out before committing to the
full price. We also offer free consultations for surfers looking to try
something out of their norm or learners needing some direction on which
board would be best for them.
- Paddle boards cost $75 to rent for 3 days.
- Surfboards cost $50 to
rent for 3 days.
If you decide you love the board you demo, you can apply the rental
fee to the purchase of the board!
All board rentals require a $150 deposit that is fully refundable
assuming the board comes back in the same condition as it left RIDER
SHACK. If you ding a board, we only take the repair cost out of your
deposit.
To rent a board, you will need a valid ID/Drivers License and
a major credit or debit card and sign our terms and conditions gear
rental form.

SURF GEAR RENTAL
Need some accessories to go along with your board rental? We also
rent surf gear!
- Leashes cost $5 to rent for 3 days.
- Car Rack Pads & Straps cost $10
to rent for 3 days.
Unfortunately we currently only rent equipment in the Los Angeles
metro area. We do not rent wetsuits, but we do have some really
affordable ones to buy!
