Lost 6'2 Sub Scorcher 2 Diamond Surfboard

The Lost Sub Scorcher 2 surfboard is a fresh twist on the extremely popular Sub Scorcher model. The Vee bottom was removed from the last 6" of the tail which increases the rocker by about a 1/4" still keeping the rail line static. As a result the board surfs looser for better vertical and pocket surfing. To keep the board fast with lots of drive, Lost straightened the outline in the tail by adding the double wing swallow tail. This is a great everyman's daily average wave shortboard.

This Lost 5'3 Bean Bag surfboard is a limited edition 1 of 10 board signed by Matt Biolos, glassed & resin tinted by the Lucky Bastards. Each of the 10 boards is unique.

The Bean Bag

A radically extreme small wave concept! Based around maximum surface area for lift and stability in tiny surf. Balanced by a “double ender” outline and a tip to tail vee bottom, for forgiveness and on rail surfing in the smallest of waves. Similar to the Couch Potato, but with a wider tail and a lower overall rocker. It also features a flat (low center of gravity) and stable deck. This board is meant to be surfed very short. Unlike most extremely wide and short boards, it has the ability to be surfed aggressively from the tail, and up onto a rail, without sliding out…Get off the Couch, toss your LazyBoy and bust out the BeanBag!

Torq 8'0'' Mini Longboard Surfboard

Appealing to those who are looking for more volume and better glide than a funboard, but aren’t interested in a full-size longboard. Great performance in thigh-high to slightly over head-high waves, this board is a tremendous wave catcher.

A low entry rocker gets you moving and provides the glide needed on smaller, weaker days. We packaged just enough tail rocker to allow it to perform in quick beach breaks or as the surf increases.

Maurice Cole 6'0'' Protow Surfboard
$699.99

The step up board from the Metro-TT also has also had a major design evolution. Now a 1/4″vee in the nose deflects chop and decreases wind lift in large conditions. There is also more thickness under the chest, with a flat deck and a chined rail, meaning the board feels thinner under your arm but has hidden volume under the chest. Concave sits at 3/8” graduating to a 1/2″ vee off the tail for more grip and a rail line flip behind the fins which releases at high speeds. The board happily handles from head high to as big as you can catch.

Based on the tow series evolution. The design has a deep concave that is punctuated by a sharp rail which in historical terms would have created a board that would go really fast in a straight line. The Protow ushers in a new era of speed and carve surfing with a rail that won’t let go even in the most critical bottom turn scenario.

The Protow pairs perfectly with the metro as the MC 2 board quiver. Width and volume in the right places create a board that quite often floats better than a conventional board 3 or 4 inches longer and facilitates tighter stronger turns with considerably less effort. This board will have you paddling over the grommets but will impress with its performance steep and deep.

Firewire 5'3'' Baked Potato Surfboard

Dan Mann has struck gold again, Yukon Gold. The BAKED POTATO offers the same small wave performance as the SWEET POTATO with a few subtle design adjustments. The nose is pulled in slightly and some of the rail volume has been removed to allow for even faster rail to rail transfers. The BAKED POTATO has the same aggressive double concaves and 'V-spline' running down the center of the board which allows the board to get up on the rail much faster than the overall design would indicate. Primarily designed for smaller, weaker conditions, the BAKED POTATO will surprise you by its performance characteristics, and how the quad fins set further back and closer to the rail than usual, allow the board to hold with- out sliding, even in larger surf. Get cooking on a BAKED POTATO.

FIREWIRE welcomes Taylor Jensen to our Pro team, one of the top high performance long boarders in the world and current ASP World Champion. The TJP will go vertical while still maximizing the fun of cruising on a longer board.
The TJ EVERYDAY is longer than the TJP at 904, with a slightly thicker foil, lower entry rocker and flatter bottom concaves, allowing for a balance between performance and nose riding.

Lost 6'1'' Baby Buggy Surfboard
$675.00

Announcing The Taj Burrow Baby Buggy: After 18 or so years of non-stop World Touring, it’s fair that Mr. Burrow would want to enjoy himself a little. This past summer, with the upcoming birth of his first child and knowing he would be passing on a couple events to be home for the big day, Taj requested “Something short ‘n fun, but still a (normal) board. Nothing too fishy. Right about, or just over, my typical volume, but just squished down and playful”. Going to work, Lost started with his 5’9 18.25” 2.25” 24.50cl (personal dims) BeachBuggy, and re-visioned it at 5’6” 18.63” 2.25”. Lost filled in the rails and foil until it sat at 25 liters flat, then relaxed the entire rocker, so the new bottom curve nestled perfectly within the curve of the original 5’9”. Lost hoped he would still be able to draw the same lines in spite of a much shorter rail line. They sent the first one to Tahiti and after his unfortunate exit from the Teahupoo event, they received the best kind of text you could ask for: “That little board is ludicrous. I just surfed a soft little beachy here in Tahiti, and the thing went bananas”. After a couple subtle requested tweaks to rails and tail thickness, Lost made a couple more, and decided on a fitting name. Like every new father, there’s impending daddy duties and Mr. Burrow needs a new ride….The Baby Buggy! Domestication with a High Performance twist. If it’s good enough for TB…It’s good enough for anybody. Taj rides his 3” shorter and with a bit more volume than his typical stick, but average surfers can be more generous and go with added volume and maybe only 1"-2” shorter than a typical HPSB. For custom orders, it’s also just fine to order this board in your typical dims.

A performance based California utility board, the “four” was the fourth board in a series of numbered concept boards built for Dane Reynolds just prior to the 2012 US Open. Each concept board incorporated a blend of single to double with vee, 13”+ nose and 15”+ tail with a double bump. After a few months of tweaks and refinements, the result is a design that can be ridden in two different dimension sets to dial in the type of waves and conditions you ride. Dane rides a 5’8” x 19 1/2 a 2 7/16 as a GROVELER and a 5’9” 19 1/4 x 2 7/16” as a UTILITY board.

Ride the utility a couple inches shorter than you are tall, and the groveler an inch or 2 shorter than that (so about 4″ shorter than you are tall

EVO (Evolution) is a new take on the MPH design, utilizing softer features and more outline curve to encourage a smoother transitions and a more ‘in the pocket’ line of attack. A wider central wide point comparative to the Vader, the EVO should be considered favorable to smaller weaker waves, however like most Tomo MPH Designs , the EVO will still be quite functional in overhead waves conditions.
Maintaining an almost symmetrical outline and a completely unique and highly innovative “Double inside single concave into split quad concave” planing hull, The EVO feels as if it’s almost ‘levitating’ on the water! Yet once on rail, it has a precise rail sensitivity and hold. The EVO should be ridden as short as possible with user friendly volumes packed into the shortest MPH sizings yet offered by Tomo.

Lost's latest high performance hybrid. In the tradition of the Rocket and its many knock offs, the Shortround bridges the gap between easy riding “cheater” boards and the HP Shortboard. Tested all around Southern California in the summer of 2014, this board has more than impressed. The buzz about it is spreading fast. The speed comes from a low entry rocker and wide-ish nose, with a forward wide point and generous concave throughout. The performance comes from a moderate, but not flipped up, tail rocker, a double concave through the fins and the same sort of modern bump squash tail that you would find on a typical contest style, small wave HP shortboard. All combined, it doesn’t look like anything fancy and there are no gimmicks, but some times less is more, and there is a lot packed into this little board.
