Lost 5'8 Lazy Boy Surfboard

The Lost Lay-Z boy surfboard is both a continuation and a break away from the Bottom Feeder and Plank Genre surfboards. The Lay-Zboy takes these high volume low rocker small wave surfboard designs and brings it to a wider range of surf capabilities. This surfboard uses an elliptical outline influenced by Wayne Lynch & Michael Peterson in the 1970's as well as Dave Parmenter in the 80's and 90's. These elliptical outlines give the Lay-Zboy a very open and forgiving sweet spot and allow the board to be surfed in knee to well overhead waves.

Derived from the Whiplash-TB. The TB-Stepdown is more of an “every-mans” high performance shortboard. Used by many WT and Qualifying Series competitors, because it works equally well in small junk surf. Featuring the Same WL-TB, hyper extended tail rocker (for tight radius arcs off the back foot) but a significantly more relaxed entry rocker, which combined with a wider nose allows for more drive and forward momentum , and stability, with a bigger landing platform from reverse and tweaked airs. A wider hip and tail block is added to the outline in the tail for more lift at low speeds, but the tail width at 12” is relatively the same as the WL- TB. This allows for superior precision and control than most al other “grovel” boards. With the centerline and rail volume is carried farther into the rails….and out to nose and tail the TB-stepdown is designed to be ridden 1-2” shorter than the WLashTB. In the right size, this is a HP shortboard that can be ridden and enjoyed by most surfers.

Lost 6'0 Sub Scorcher 2 Keahana Surfboard

The Lost Sub Scorcher 2 surfboard is a fresh twist on the extremely popular Sub Scorcher model. The Vee bottom was removed from the last 6" of the tail which increases the rocker by about a 1/4" still keeping the rail line static. As a result the board surfs looser for better vertical and pocket surfing. To keep the board fast with losts of drive Lost straightened the outline in the tail by adding the double wing swallow tail. This is a great everyman's daily average wave shortboard.

THIS SURFBOARD WAS A RETURN. It has been surfed 1 x and has 2 very minor pressure dents on the deck. The price has been dropped. This board also comes with a Astrodeck black traction pad.

Hayden Shapes 5'8 Shred Sled Future Flex Epoxy Surfboard
$755.00
Add to Cart

The Shred Sled is a fish design tweaked to be an all-round surfing board. It has a smooth connected feeling that is fast and flowing. Although it looks like a small wave board, the Shred Sled will surf waves up to 6ft in all conditions.

The unique outline allows a full plan shape, yet a wide round tail is positioned behind the wing to give plenty of performance and curve to fit into all types of waves. The wing allows a straighter outline in the center of the board, which provides plenty of speed down the line. The foil has plenty of volume, yet it is shaped to allow the board to sit in the wave face creating a very smooth, connected feeling. The wing breaks this connection and water flow to give response and release when you want it.

The rocker is flat in the belly, giving the board flowing speed, yet it kicks late in the nose and a little in the tail. The deep single concave in the front end of the board blends into a double vee out the tail behind the front fins.

Designed to be ridden 4-5 inches shorter and ¾ to 1 inch wider than your performance shortboard

Hayden Shapes 6'0 Hypto Krypto Future Flex Epoxy Surfboard
$755.00
Add to Cart

The Hypto Krypto is the most versatile shape in the Haydenshapes range, enabling it to be ridden in waves from 1ft to 8ft. It paddles like a dream due to the volume and flatter rocker. You ride the Hypto Krypto on the open face, drawing fast, flowing lines with all the speed it provides.

The outline resembles an old school twin fin in the nose, yet pulls into a rounded pin tail which will give you plenty of hold in the bigger stuff, and provide a lot of curve around the back foot. You can use the wider, straighter outline forward on the board to give you speed down the line and the rounded pintail to draw tighter arcs in the pocket.

Although the rocker of the Hypto Krypto is flat, Hayden has snuck in a little extra lift in the entry to add some curve up front; this helps taking off late, or turning in the steeper sections of the wave. The design of the rocker has been focused around speed, and more speed! The Hypto has never been shaped as a quad because it is too fast already, you’ll find yourself making sections down the line that you would never expect to make.

The foil has plenty of volume around the chest and center area of the board, yet it refines out to a thinner, more pinched rail to keep the board connected to the wave. The concave runs from a rolled vee in the entry, to a slight single transitioning into a vee double out the tail, which gives the board great speed and control from rail to rail.

Overall the Hypto Krypto is the one stop board that you can travel all around the world having fun in average conditions, as well as taking to the barrel and open face when the swell pumps!
